To set up twin mobsters, you must have a bank, click here for help setting up your first bank. You must also know How to do a Transfer, and How Health Points Work.
So, how exactly do twins work? If you take 2 mobsters, same level, no mob, no attack, no defense, 1 baseball bat, and enough cash to support their healing habits, and attack each other, you will win by just 1 point. As you already read in my How Health Points Work post, a dead even fight will yield the most possible experience. So we are going to exploit these facts and use them to our advantage. Whether it's a glitch in the game, or we are taking advantage of the many formulas the GF uses to calculate different aspects of the game, it works, and I have been making twins since finding this exploit a few months into the game.
So, if you are still reading this, I am to assume you already know the information in the links mentioned above, and we can continue. Setting up your twin mobsters will seem a bit confusing at first, but it will become a 2nd nature to you before long, so let's jump to it.
- Create two e-mails, myspace's, and mobsters accounts.
- Transfer some money to these accounts.
- Increase your income, put the rest in the bank.
- Purchase 1 baseball bat on each account.
- Adjust your health.
- Start attacking each other until you reach the level you need.
C'mon you don't think I'd leave you hanging like that did you? Let's start explaining those steps mentioned above to help minimize the trial and error.
Step 1. Create two e-mails, myspace's, and mobsters accounts.
If you don't know how to do this, wtf are you doing here?
Step 2. Transfer some money to these accounts.
The amount of money to transfer depends on how far you want to push these two mobsters, what kind of health you are wanting to get, and how fast you want to get to your desired level. Here's some examples and perhaps you can base your decision off of them:
Please note that the above figures are nothing more than estimates, and the higher you go in level, the more inaccurate these estimates may be.
Step 3. Increase you income, put the rest of the money in the bank.
Refer to the chart above as to what income you may need. Please note that after you get to your desired level, you can start adding mobsters, thus EMS, and the cost of healing will drop to about $20/mil an hour for a level 400+, but unfortunately, you can't get dead even fights when you own any EMS, so we have to do without them until we reach our desired level. If you would like to try this without income, you will need about $7 billion in bank funds to get you to level 400, and another $1 billion per every 2 levels thereafter.
Step 4. Purchase 1 baseball bat on each account.
I used to be able to fight with my bare hands, but now more often than not, it will only give me a very small amount of damage and exp, therefore I had to buy weapons that have 1 attack and 1 defense, that made it back to normal. However, if you notice you aren't getting a dead even fight (you will win 66% to 33%) then you need to sell the bats and use the bare hands.
Step 5. Adjust your health.
Health controls how fast you level, and how much it will cost you an hour to level, but it will never change the amount of money it takes to get from one level to the next. If you want to get there quickly and have the income to do it, load up at least 1/3 of your skill points into health. Most of the twin mobsters I make are going straight to level 500, and I dump all my exp into health until I reach 6500 around level 215 (that leaves me with 855 skill points to spend when I reach level 500). If your health, damage, and healing range is greater than what your income can support, you will find yourself playing the waiting game all too often.
Step 6. Start attacking until you reach the level you need.
Log on twin 1, go to twin 2's wall and hit attack. Keep twin 1 open in one tab and log on to twin 2. Go to twin 2's rival list and attack twin 1. Go back to twin 1's tab, go to the rival list, and attack back. Heal up, repeat. Congrats, you now have twins.
There are much easier ways to do this with bots, however I'm not going to mention any of them unless they want to start an affiliate program with me.
